CRANCHI is considered to be one of the oldest shipyards in the world, its history dates back to 1870. Back then, on Lake Como, Giovanni Cranchi started a family business: the production of wooden boats. Very soon the company reached the global level, and the yachts found their buyers in a wide variety of water areas.
 
In 2016, the company signed a contract with designer Christian Grande, who introduced new approaches to interior planning and design to this business. This collaboration proved to be such a successful marketing decision that a series of subsequent premieres from CRANCHI collected and continue to collect the most prestigious awards at yacht festivals.  And 150 years later, looking back at a path full of bold decisions and innovations, we can say that the passion and the experience accumulated on the way has turned the work of the CRANCHI shipyard into a true art.
 
Today, the company has 4 shipbuilding sites and a marine test center for testing all the Cranchi model range. The level of production automation is one of the highest in the industry. 39 robots are involved in the production: they are used in various processes from the manufacture of matrices to full or partial coloring using DuPont technology. The hulls are made of kevlar according to the unique technology of the shipyard, which allows us to obtain light and strong structures - they ensure high speed of the yacht and significant fuel-saving.
